A week ago, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) initiated the antibody tests in Male City. These antibody tests may tell you if you had a past infection with the virus that causes Covid-19. The Seroprevalence sample collection for the Covid-19 antibody is continued jointly with the HPA and Maldives National University (MNU).
This seroprevalence sample collection was brought to hold for Thursday and Friday, and HPA will resume it on the 31st of October.
HPA has concluded the initial seroprevalence sample collection for the antibody tests with children under the age of 18. The sample collection was brought to hold, in the middle of seroprevalence sample collection for the antibody tests with people above the age of 18.
