PM Narendra Modi inaugurated India's first seaplane service between Ahmedabad and Kevadia on Saturday, aiming to boost tourism and help the local economy of India. The inauguration of India's first seaplane service was supported by the Maldivian Aero seaplane.

Maldivian Aero announced that it was a privilege and honor to provide its seaplane charter service for the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.



Managing Director of the national airline of Maldives, Mr. Mohamed Rizvi, has stated that Maldivian Aero Seaplane departed on Saturday from Kevadia to Sabarmati Riverfront (India) is a part of an ongoing project with Spicejet, India.

Mr. Rizvi also said that it was a privilege to have the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi board the flight, trusting Maldivian’s experience and expertise in seaplane operations.



The High Commission of India in the Maldives has stated that India's first seaplane services were flagged off on the occasion of National Unity Day-with the support of a Maldivian Aero seaplane, pilots & crew.

Before boarding the seaplane, PM Narendra Modi was briefed by the Maldivian Aero cabin crew instructor Hussain Fazeel.
