In addition, two resorts operated by the Villa Company were also renamed and rebranded yesterday. Paradise Island Resort has been renamed Villa Nautica and Sun Island has been renamed Villa Park.
The Villa Company operates five resorts. They are the largest resort in Maldives Sun Island, Paradise, as well as Fun Island, Holiday Island and Royal Island Resort.
Holiday Island Resort and Spa has been closed for redevelopment and is set to open later this year as Villa Haven.
Furthermore, Villa Company has also decided to change the name of Royal Island Resort and Spa to Villa Village and open it in 2025. Villa also aims to open the Fun Island Resort and Spa in 2027 after redevelopment.
