Road Development Corporation (RDC) has been awarded the contract to pave the roads with asphalt in HA. Ihavandhoo.
RDC was awarded the contract at a ceremony held at the Planning Ministry today.
The work was awarded to RDC for MVR 102.8 million.
Director General Fathimath Shaana Farooq signed the agreement on behalf of Planning Ministry while Chief Financial Officer Yasir Hassan signed on behalf of RDC.
Under this project, 6.9 kilometres of road will be tarred, along with the development of a drainage system and the installation of street lights. The work was awarded to RDC to complete it within 540 days.
