President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih today inaugurated a new multipurpose hall at Fuvahmulah School and a soccer field at Dhoodigan Ward of Fuvahmulah City.

The ceremonies were held separately as part of his present campaign tour in the city.

The present administration has made significant progress in developing the education sector by addressing space constraints in schools, constructing facilities for extracurricular activities, and commissioning additional infrastructure projects throughout the nation.

The soccer pitch at Dhoodigan Ward, constructed by iNOCA Pvt. Ltd., will be open for students when the new academic year begins in the first week of August. The field features turf and modern amenities.

President Solih’s government has over the past five years provided islands with modern soccer pitches, futsal fields, and sports courts across the nation.

“These efforts aim to promote healthy and active lifestyles among young people and foster the development of the local athletic talents”, says the President’s Office.
