President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih asks the people of Filladhoo in North Thiladhunmathi Atoll to use logic in making their voting decisions.
President Solih was in Filladhoo island this morning as part of his presidential campaign conducted under the “Happy and Peaceful Maldives” slogan.
President Solih told the audience in a rally held under the campaign on the island that it was not a good idea to use emotion in making voting decisions even though there have been personal grievances against his government.
“This is one of the most important moments a citizen who wants to contribute to the greater national interest lives”, said President Solih.
He also said, “Let’s put the national interest first. It's about the development of the whole nation”.
