President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih inaugurated several newly completed infrastructure projects on Rasgetheemu Island in Raa Atoll on Tuesday. These projects include the upgraded harbor, the water and sewerage network, and the FENAKA office on the island. Completing these projects, marked as part of President Solih's ongoing visit to several islands in the atoll, represents a significant step forward in developing the island's infrastructure.

The harbor and jetty upgrading project on Rasgetheemu Island, carried out by Heavy Force Pvt. Ltd., encompassed a range of significant improvements. These include the deepening of the harbor basin, the development of a 359-meter breakwater, a 140-meter revetment wall, and a 272-meter quay wall, among other enhancements.

The new water and sewerage network on Rasgetheemu Island, constructed by Mohan Mutha Exports Pvt. Ltd., will significantly improve the quality of life for the island's residents and support its continued development. President Solih also inaugurated the newly developed FENAKA office on the island, which is spacious and modern in design.

Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has made significant strides toward equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
