President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has pledged to develop an airport on Milandhoo Island in Shaviyani Atoll. He made the remarks while speaking with the residents of Milandhoo Island.

In his remarks, the President assured that the Administration would meet all its pledges to the people. In that regard, the President stated that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs is constructing the Islamic Centre on the island. He added that his pledges of road development, hospital upgrades, establishing an indoor-outdoor complex, and resolving the community's housing needs would all be fulfilled.

The President further stated that the people's participation is crucial to expediting this process.
