The Pension Office appointing a foreigner as CEO has caused a public backlash. It is notable as the first time the Pension Office hired a foreigner as a CEO. The new CEO appointment comes after the retirement of Mohamed Hussain Manik, who held the post since the Pension Administration Office’s establishment.
