December 29th, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 31 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded includes 20 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 11 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 13,691 cases, including 527 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 311,514 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 2,644 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 27 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 13,109.
According to HPA, there are 29 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 48 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
