A team of 25 Indonesian doctors has joined the Emirati Integrated Field Hospital in Gaza to support the UAE’s medical staff in treating injured Palestinians.

Ten of these doctors are now stationed at the field hospital in Gaza, while the remaining 15 are working at the UAE Floating Hospital in Al Arish, Egypt, where they are performing surgeries and providing care to patients who have been evacuated for treatment.

This collaboration underscores the strong humanitarian partnership between the UAE and Indonesia. The UAE has been actively involved in providing medical assistance to Palestinians, with the field hospital in Gaza and the floating hospital in Al Arish both inaugurated last year to address the urgent healthcare needs resulting from the ongoing conflict.

Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported that the involvement of Indonesian medical professionals reflects the critical role of international cooperation in delivering essential healthcare during crises. The UAE’s efforts, including offering prosthetics and conducting surgeries, are part of a broader humanitarian mission to support those affected by the conflict.
