President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu emphasized India's unwavering support to the Maldives during an official banquet hosted by Indian President Droupadi Murmu. The banquet, held on Monday evening, was a key event during President Dr. Muizzu’s state visit to India.

In his address, President Dr. Muizzu reflected on the longstanding ties between the two nations, highlighting their shared values, history, and cultural exchanges. He noted that as diplomatic relations between the Maldives and India enter their sixth decade, the partnership is set to reach even greater heights.

Reiterating his electoral commitment to fostering mutual respect between neighboring nations, President Dr. Muizzu expressed confidence in the continued strengthening of Maldives-India relations, emphasizing solutions that would benefit both countries.

The banquet was attended by Indian Prime Minister His Excellency Narendra Modi, First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed, officials from the Indian government, and the visiting Maldivian delegation. The event underscored the growing bond between the two nations, further cementing their bilateral cooperation.
