The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed on Friday that it conducted an airstrike on the Jusiyah Crossing, a critical border point between Lebanon and Syria. The Israeli military said it was being used by Hezbollah to transfer weapons

“Overnight, the IAF (Israeli Air Force) struck Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure sites at the Jousieh border crossing in the northern Bekaa area of Lebanon,” the military stated.

The IDF emphasized that Hezbollah “exploits the Jousieh civilian crossing, which is under the control of the Syrian regime and is operated by Syrian military security, to transfer weapons.”

The airstrike specifically targeted infrastructure linked to Hezbollah’s Unit 4400, known for its smuggling operations. The military released footage showing the damage inflicted on the crossing, located near the Lebanese town of Qaa.

This operation is part of a broader strategy by Israel to disrupt the flow of arms from Iran to Hezbollah amid escalating regional tensions.
