February 15th , the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 125 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded includes 104 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 21 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 06 people are positive from operational resorts.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 17,953 cases, including 2,328 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 466,545 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 4,889 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 112 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 15,560.
According to HPA, there are 190 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 58 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
