February 25th, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 184 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded include 145 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 39 people infected outside the greater Male’ area. Out of this, 24 people are positive from operational resorts.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 19,346 cases, including 2,441 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 510,506 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 3,993 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 192 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 16,838.
According to HPA, there are 162 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 60 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
