September 20th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 75 positive cases within 24 hours. This includes 22 Maldivians and 53 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 72 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 03 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maldives have increased up to 9,724. This includes 1,424 active cases to COVID-19 in Maldives.
HPA also reported recovery of 73 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 8,261 people recovered.
There are active COVID-19 cases in 26 resorts and in 24 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. The active cases in resorts include 15 Tourists and 39 staff.
Maldives has recorded 33 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
