The overall global Covid-19 caseload has increased over 131 million, according to Johns Hopkins University. The statistics also showed that the number deaths related to Covid-19 have surged to more than 2.85 million.

The US is the worst-hit country with the world`s highest number of cases with over 30 million according to the Johns Hopkins University's Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE). Brazil follows in second place with over 13 million cases, and then India, which has more than 12 million confirmed cases.

In terms of deaths related to Covid-19, Mexico comes in third place with 204,147 fatalities, while in the US the death toll stood at 555,403, and in Brazil 332,752 fatalities.
