Recent records show that 16,405 tourists have arrived in Maldives since the border opening.
Maldives reopened its borders considering the guidelines set by the Health Protection Agency (HPA) on the 15th of July, since then it has recorded 16,405 tourist arrivals till 23rd of September.
In the first 23 days of September itself, 7076 tourists have already arrived, meanwhile in the month of August, 7,628 tourists have arrived. In the month of July, it recorded 1752 tourist arrivals since the border reopened.
Since the reopening of the borders, most of the tourist arrivals are from; UAE, Russia, US, UK and Spain.
So far 399,252 tourists have arrived in Maldives in the year 2020.
