September 26th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 31 positive cases within 24 hours. This includes 25 Maldivians and 06 Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 26 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 05 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maldives have increased up to 10,045. This includes 1,250 active cases to COVID-19 in Maldives.
HPA also reported recovery of 81 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 8,754 people recovered.
There are active COVID-19 cases in 24 resorts and in 20 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. The active cases in resorts include 12 Tourists and 30 staff.
Maldives has recorded 34 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
