September 27th; (HPA) Health Protection Agency of the Maldives; reports 53 positive cases within 24 hours. This includes 42 Maldivians and 11Foreigners.
Total of positive cases records 47 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 06 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in Maldives have increased up to 10,098. This includes 1,210 active cases to COVID-19 in Maldives.
HPA also reported recovery of 93 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 8,847 people recovered.
There are active COVID-19 cases in 23 resorts and in 19 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. The active cases in resorts include 12 Tourists and 30 staff.
Maldives has recorded 34 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
