The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has updated its guidelines with no quarantine required for vaccinated travelers coming from anywhere across the globe, except from 13 countries.
In a recent circular issued, it said that no quarantine will be needed for vaccinated travelers coming from anywhere across the globe, except from; Armenia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Palestine, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and Ukraine.
According to the circular, unvaccinated travelers from anywhere will have to quarantine at home for 14 days following arrival. But vaccinated passengers coming from the mentioned 13 countries will have to stay in home quarantine for seven days and if unvaccinated they will be institutionally quarantined for seven days.
Further, the circular reads that all travelers are required to have a negative RT-PCR Covid-19 test result, tested within 72 hours of flight departure to Bangladesh. However, Covid-19 testing is not mandatory for children under 12 years of age.
