"TheCircle" by Ugail Foundation welcomed youngsters aged 7 to 14 to come to the Circle space, to show off their creativity. This was a free event that took place at theCircle space on Saturday, March 19, 2022. There were four excellent pieces of art, and according to the circle, plans are in the works to get them printed on canvas for wider distribution.
Among the four artworks, Mariam Reea Ramzee's (8 years) painting received the most votes in a Facebook poll held by theCircle on their official Facebook page. The runners-up were Aminath Eashal Siraj (9 years), Fathimath Rikze Ramzee (10 years), and Zeina Amzath Ahmed (9 years).
Speaking to Ras Online, all the four kids expressed their interests in art and participating in future events held at the Space. They also spoke fondly about the support received by the Space in supporting their art skill development and appreciated the support received.
Following the art event, a closing ceremony was held for the event last Saturday, where four kids, whose artwork received the most votes were certified.
TheCircle Space is a welcoming environment where anybody may gather, read, study, and work in peace. This space which is hosted on the 3rd level of the Centro Mall in Hulhumale', with the support of Housing Development Corporation (HDC), is meant to be a calm and pleasant environment for everyone, with knowledge from all around the globe available at their fingertips.
TheCircle plans to have more events for children in the future since they believe that children's skills should be encouraged at an early age.
