The body of Shiau Mohammed Saeed, who was found brutally murdered on Saturday night, has been sent to India for post-mortem.
With serious injuries, a post-mortem will be conducted to find out more about the death of Xiao, police said at a press conference on Tuesday. Hence the body of Shiau has been sent to India for post-mortem, a police spokesman said today.
So far, only one person has been arrested in connection with Shiau's death.
The arrested person identified as Ali Shahil (Finifenmaage, F. Nilandhoo), has been remanded in custody till the end of the trial. Shahil was arrested at the crime scene. As per the Police, he was under the influence of alcohol when he was arrested.
