Home Minister Imran Abdulla has stated that the safari rape case incident was blown out of context and described it as a minor incident.

Speaking on a radio program, Minister Imran has said that he was concerned to hear about the safari rape case incident, and he accused the public of describing the event differently from what has happened at the incident. He also denied that it was a rape case and described it as a minor incident.

Minister Imran also stated that there were instances out of the procedure for alleged people from the incident.

The safari rape case involves the alleged sexual abuse of a Kenyan national onboard a safari near Hulhumale, which has caused an immense public backlash and accused state official's influence over the safari rape case.

Along with different versions of the safari rape case incident, a video has leaked of the Police inquiring the victim, where it's heard the Police influencing the victim to change her statement. Meanwhile, Police have raised concerns over the video being leaked. The video was leaked by the law firm representing the victim. The law firm has raised concerns about how Police have acted during the investigation and have called to take actions against it.

Minister Imran has stated that there is no massive rape case as being spoken about by the public.
