According to Victoria Police, 74 people were arrested during the second day of anti-lockdown protests. Along with this, 176 fine notice was issued for violating the Chief Health Officer directions.
Police have also arrested a 44-year-old man suspected to be the motivator for the protests, who remains in police custody and is expected to be charged with violation of laws and guidelines.
During these protests, police described the disappointing actions from protestors as aggressive and threatening violence towards police officers.
