November 9th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 23 positive cases from 1,342 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 20 Maldivians and 03 Foreigners.
A total of positive cases records 21 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 02 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives have increased up to 12,009. This includes 830 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
HPA also reported the recovery of 40 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 11,132 people recovered.
So far, Maldives has recorded 40 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
