November 11th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 29 positive cases from 1,176 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 17 Maldivians and 12 Foreigners.
A total of positive cases records 22 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 07 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives have increased up to 12,059. This includes 812 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
HPA also reported the recovery of 17 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 11,199 people recovered.
There are active Covid-19 cases in 27 resorts and in 11 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. 54 Tourists and 140 staff have been tested positive for covid-19 in the resorts.
So far, Maldives has recorded 41 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
