November 15th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 50 positive cases from 1,477 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 19 Maldivians and 31 Foreigners.
A total of positive cases records 21 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 29 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Maldives have increased up to 12,204. This includes 865 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
HPA also reported the recovery of 27 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 11,289 people recovered.
There are active Covid-19 cases in 26 resorts and in 10 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. 54 Tourists and 107 staff have been tested positive for covid-19 in the resorts.
So far, Maldives has recorded 43 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
