Dismissed 7 cases against Mr Adeeb by the criminal court have been appealed at the high court. The hearing for this is planned for 2pm today.

The dismissed cases filed against corruption in Maldives Marketing and public relation by the criminal have been appealed by the government at the high court. The last hearing for this was on June 27th. From the last hearing the judge ruled grantig a 10 days time for Mr Adeeb to find a lawyer for him.

Government accusations against the former Mr Adeeb include, involvement in corruption cases, misuse of power for benefits, and misuse of presidential rights along with money laundering. The case was dismissed by the criminal court on June 14th.

The case is currently looked after by the Jude Mohamed Niyaz, Judge Shuaib Hussain Zakariya and Judge Hussain Mazeed from the high court.
