November 18th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 29 positive cases from 1,360 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 19 Maldivians and 10 Foreigners.
A total of positive cases records 24 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 05 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 12,384 cases. This includes 926 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
HPA also reported the recovery of 18 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 11,406 people recovered.
There are active Covid-19 cases in 29 resorts and in 15 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. 48 Tourists and 90 staff have been tested positive for covid-19 in the resorts.
So far, Maldives has recorded 45 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
