November 19th; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 68 positive cases from 1,530 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 28 Maldivians and 40 Foreigners.

A total of positive cases records 36 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 32 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.

With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 12,452 cases. This includes 925 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.

HPA also reported the recovery of 69 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 11,475 people recovered.

There are active Covid-19 cases in 27 resorts and in 11 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. 46 Tourists and 110 staff have been tested positive for covid-19 in the resorts.

So far, Maldives has recorded 45 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
