November 21st; the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives reports 32 positive cases from 1,561 samples taken within 24 hours. This includes 17 Maldivians and 15 Foreigners.
A total of positive cases records 19 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 13 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the COVID-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 12,578 cases. This includes 967 active cases to COVID-19 in the Maldives.
HPA also reported the recovery of 62 infected people in the last 24 hours, which adds up to a total of 11,559 people recovered.
There are active Covid-19 cases in 30 resorts and in 14 residential islands outside of the greater Male’ area. 52 Tourists and 155 staff have been tested positive for covid-19 in the resorts.
So far, Maldives has recorded 45 deaths due to complications of Covid-19.
