Former President and former PPM President Yameen Abdul Gayoom is expected to be granted permission to form his new political party tomorrow.
According to the Election Commission President, Fuad Taufeek, the Election Commission has received the application form and documents.
After examining the documents, the party formation permit will be issued tomorrow, said Fuad.
The permit to form the People's National Front (PNF) party was applied by President Yameen's son, Zain Yameen. Because of a sentence, President Yameen is not allowed to form a party. However, he has the opportunity to join the party.
