Former President Mr Nasheed dismissed claims that he is after the presidency of the nation saying that he doesn't want the Presidency, but if he wants the position of a Prime Minister, he will tell.
He mentioned this through the regularly published article by Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP). In the article, Nasheed states that a parliamentary system can permit MDP to serve the nation for the next ten years, which would be the most beneficial for the public.
He further states that MDP has given the right as a speaker, and the issues he raise voice for is beneficial to the party and its future. And he denies the accusation of raising his voice bringing a negative impact, he said that it is from a misinterpretation of what he says.
Nasheed added that criticising the President Ibrahim Solih is personally very challenging for him and even the President knows about it.
