December 13th, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 20 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded includes 15 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 05 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 13,368 cases, including 607 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 269,425 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 2,035 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 47 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 12,706.
According to HPA, there are 67 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 48 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
