December 26th, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 35 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded includes 34 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 01 person infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 13,618 cases, including 513 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 303,585 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 2,122 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 24 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 13,050.
According to HPA, there are 39 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 48 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
