December 27th, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives has reported 26 additional cases of Covid-19 within 24 hours.
The total positive cases recorded includes 22 people infected in the greater Male’ area and 04 people infected outside the greater Male’ area.
With additional cases of the Covid-19, confirmed cases in the Maldives have increased up to 13,644 cases, including 517 active cases to Covid-19 recorded within the last 24 hours.
So far, HPA has taken 306,361 test samples for Covid-19, while HPA has taken 2,746 test samples within the last 24 hours.
HPA also reported that 22 people have recovered in the last 24 hours, which increases the total recoveries to 13,072.
According to HPA, there are 33 patients admitted to hospitals, and the Maldives has recorded 48 deaths from Covid-19 complications.
