His Excellency Mohamed Luveiz, the High Commissioner of the Republic of Maldives to Singapore, presented his credentials to His Excellency Tharman Shanmugaratnam, President of the Republic of Singapore, in a formal ceremony at the Istana, Singapore's Presidential Palace, today.

During their meeting following the ceremony, High Commissioner Luveiz extended warm greetings from Maldives President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to President Shanmugaratnam. He wished the Singaporean leader good health and happiness and expressed hopes for continued peace, prosperity, and well-being for the people of Singapore.

President Shanmugaratnam congratulated High Commissioner Luveiz on his appointment and assured him of the full support and cooperation of the Singaporean government in fulfilling his duties.



High Commissioner Luveiz also expressed his appreciation to the Singaporean government and people for their ongoing support. He emphasized the commitment of the Maldives to strengthening the enduring friendship between the two nations.

Accompanying High Commissioner Luveiz were his spouse, Ms. Khadheeja Mufliha, and Second Secretaries Mr. Abdulla Aruham and Ms. Jalala Saleem from the Maldives High Commission in Singapore.
