The Maldivian government is launching a Hollywood film project aimed at boosting investment in the country.

Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed revealed the initiative during a press conference at the Presidential Office today, outlining the government's strategy to build a creative economy.

Minister Saeed announced that discussions are underway to produce a Hollywood film that highlights the Maldives as an attractive investment destination. The government has reached out to the creator of the renowned animated film "Finding Nemo" and proposed a collaboration with a Hollywood startup company to bring the project to fruition.

Meetings with various stakeholders in the Maldives have also been conducted to support the film’s development. Saeed expressed optimism that the project would be completed soon, emphasizing that the film will showcase the Maldives' appealing climate, investment opportunities, and tourism potential.

The Economic Minister noted that this effort aligns with the President's vision for advancing the Maldivian economy and enhancing the country's international profile. The government hopes that the film will effectively promote the Maldives and attract new investors.
