The Health Protection Agency (HPA) of the Maldives announces a broder mass inspection, to check whether the HPA’s guidelines are being followed.
From this mass inspection, HPA will be checking if the HPA’s set guidelines are followed in the state owned workplaces, private offices and in travel service providing places. The mass inspection is set to start on the 20th of this month.
HPA has been continuously inspecting the general public service places as well, Through these inspections, if any service provider is not following the HPA’s guidelines, the place will be closed for 48 hours, if repeated, the place will be shut down for 3 days along with a 1000 MVR fine and if repeated again, the place will be shut down for 5 days along with a 1000 MVR fine.
Due to a large number of positive cases in Maldives, HPA has announced specific guidelines for service providers to follow. And if the guidelines are not followed, HPA will continue to give strict penalties.
