The Malé city council has announced that it will provide assistance to individuals seeking to file complaints regarding the government’s decision to allocate 4,000 flats built under the Gedhoruveriya Housing Scheme.
Following a re-evaluation of the initial flat list issued by the previous administration, the government revised the allocation, reducing the number of beneficiaries to 1,820. A one-month window to submit complaints regarding the revised list was opened on March 1.
In a statement released today, the city council said it will assist individuals in filing their complaints daily—except on Fridays—until March 30.
The government has made the complaint submission process available through the Gedhoruveriya Portal.
