President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has called on all citizens to align their actions with the teachings of the Holy Quran, emphasizing that it should serve as a practical guide for everyday life rather than being recited solely at official events.

Speaking at the Huffaz Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday evening at the Islamic Centre, the President underscored the Quran’s role in restoring human dignity, which he said is diminishing in society. He stressed the importance of integrating Quranic principles into daily conduct and urged people to refrain from actions forbidden in Islam, such as defamation, division, and spreading falsehoods.

President Muizzu also highlighted the significance of mutual respect in fostering societal progress. He pointed out that Islam prioritizes faith and the protection of fellow Muslims from harm, whether through words or actions. He asserted that treating others with the same dignity and respect one expects for oneself is essential for building a stronger, more united society.

Before concluding, the President reaffirmed that true development must be rooted in faith and guided by Quranic principles, stating that any progress lacking these foundations would be incomplete.
