As per the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), Indian Navy Ship, INS Sunayna has arrived in Maldives today. This navy ship will be joining the serial joint maritime surface surveillance patrol by the MNDF Coastguard and Indian Navy.

According to MNDF, the marine surveillance patrol will be held from September 27 to October 4.

According to MNDF, an Indian Navy aircraft has arrived in Maldives for joint surveillance patrols twice earlier this year, once in the month July and the second one in early September.
