Buckingham Palace says Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID-19.

The palace said Sunday that the 95-year-old British monarch is experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but will continue with light duties.

“Her Majesty is experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week. She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” the statement said.

The queen has received three jabs of the coronavirus vaccine.

Both her eldest son Prince Charles and daughter-in-law Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall have also recently contracted COVID-19. The Queen had also been in contact with her eldest son the Prince of Wales, who tested positive last week.
